Can I make up a lesson if I miss one?

At this time we do not provide make up lessons. We also do NOT provide refunds. 

 

What happens if I miss the registration deadline?

Late registration forms will not be accepted due to how quick schedules must be made. There will be another opportunity at the end of the month to register again. 

 

When are lessons canceled?

Lessons will only be canceled if there is a thunderstorm in the area. Refunds cannot be given. This once again goes along with the safety for our swimmers and staff. If a staff member is sick or out of town, they will be in contact with you to either have a subsitute or cancel. (This is the only time where make ups can be made). 

 

Do you offer private lessons?

We invite you to register for private lessons on the Recommendation/Registration night. Private lessons must be scheduled at the beginning of the month on this day. Please contact the Swim Coordinators (Anya and Alyona Barrs) if you are interested in taking private lessons. We hope to offer this as part of our program but for now, we work mainly with children swim programs.

 

Is level recommendation night mandatory?

Yes. For you to be properly placed in the correct class we expect you to attend recommendation night. It is important that we know your skills so that you are challenged in class appropriately. If you do not attend recommendation night then you will most likely not be placed in a class.

 

My Child isn't progressing like I would like. How do we fix this?

Remember, unlike most sports, swimming takes time. Your child will be exercising their entire body in the water and it may take getting use to. Our instructors will always offer positive suggestions if there are things to work on. Swimming properly will take time, please remember your child will be multi-tasking IN THE WATER.
